Now enjoying the second walk of 2017 shut down holidays @Manukau Costal Walkway
A well maintained walkway for most of the part. Awesome views of sea and beaches. Passes through couple of reserves as well. There was an adventurous crossing over the rocks which made the walk worthwhile.

First walk of 2017 shut down holidays @Goodall Street Reserve. This reserve is now renamed to Belfast Reserve.
Most of this reserve was an eye opening experience. It appeared to be a neglected reserve – first ever that I came across in Auckland till now. Seats and benches were covered with algae, walkways were covered with leaves and gravel and there were too many smelly corners.
I hope that it is looked after sooner than later.
The ending was a good one though towards @Taylors Bay and @Taylors Bay Playground – well maintained and beautiful sea views.
Ended the walk @Hillsborough Bay Walkway, a part of @Hillsborough Reserve.

Catching up after a long time with a wonderful friend and ex-colleague over delicious lunch @1947 eatery
We are enjoying a unique experience of Indian food starting with complimentary peanuts and entrée of Amritsari Aloo Kulcha, never noticed either of them at any other Indian restaurant in New Zealand, Aloo Kulcha being a common Indian street foods. And we liked the concept of explaining the history being the name of restaurant.
The main course was amazing accompanied with another first – Salty Caramel Lassi.
Going to visit again for sure. Thanks to Ankit for suggesting this awesome restaurant.

It is adjacent to @Craigavon Park over Portage road. From outside it looks like a small playground but as you start exploring the walkways, it opens up many corners hidden from plain sight.
Apparently lot of events are hosted at this place throughout the year!
