I can never visit this place without Stephen because there are no clear vegetarian options in the menu and only Stephen knows how to explain my dietary requirements very specifically in the native language, better understood by staff.

Managed to sneak out one more walk as part of 2017 shut down holidays @Gittos Domain
A beautiful and kind of hidden domain adjoining @The BlockHouse Bay Beach Reserve. This reserve is maintained very well and didn’t have any obstacles provided it had just rained heavily in the morning and past couple of days as part of bigger storm that passed over Auckland. Walking after it has just finished raining leaves you with unforgettable memories. Definitely going to come here again in the future.

It wasn’t too late in the new year to get our very first storm with warnings from Met Services to stay home. It was pouring for two days making things standstill, and so did the plan for rest of 2017 shut down holidays.
Good thing about the rains is that they make hot meals taste much better and pakodas with tea are to die for at such times.
